After establishing a classical foundation on the violin Niki yearned for further musical inspiration outside the boundaries of her early exposure to music. She discovered absolute inspiration with a new genre to her being Gypsy Jazz through some utterly inspirational performers and teachers.
Niki entered the niche little world of gypsy style playing and began working on developing her taste for this genre by recording an EP and later joined the Paul McIver quartet with whom she currently plays alongside.
